Looking for the perfect post-workout (or anytime) snack? Look no further than these delicious Wildbag vegan cacao protein and banana muffins! The lovely Rebecca (@nourish_naturally) has perfected this recipe so you don't have to experiment with different flavours.
Best of all, these muffins are healthy, high in protein, will help with chocolate cravings and can be stored in the fridge for a week, or packed away in the freezer. So bring on those snack-prep Sundays, and a week full of these bad boys!
1/2 cup Wildbag Vegan Cacao Superfood Protein Blends
2 cups plain rolled oats
4 large ripe (black spots) bananas, peeled
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 tsp honey
Preheat oven to 180C.
Place oats, protein & baking powder and blitz. Pour into large mixing bowl.
Place bananas & oil in blender & blend until smooth & creamy.
Add oats to mixture and stir well.
Scoop into muffin moulds and bake for around 20 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
Remove from oven & allow to cool.
Enjoy your muffins and remember to stay wild! Note that these can be stored in fridge for up to a week or sliced and frozen.
