The weather has been a little bit crazy in Melbourne lately. Cold, windy and raining one day, sunny and hot the next day.
But while the weather has been inconsistent, there’s one thing that we’ve consistently been craving, rain or shine. And that’s this drool-worthy Wildbag triple chocolate slice, which consists of a chocolate "biscuit" base, peanut butter chocolate filling and drizzled with chocolate to finish .
Our friend Renae (the wholesome nutritionist) always amazes us with her delicious whole food creations. We definitely recommend you give this a go - whether it’s for a special occasion, or just ‘cause you deserve a tasty treat.
1/4 cup Wildbag vegan cacao superfood protein blend
1/4 cup desiccated coconut
1 cup roasted peanuts
1 cup pitted dates, soaked
Process everything in food processor until fine crumb.
Press mixture into prepared baking tray (lined with baking paper).
Mix in food processor until combined and pour over base layer.
Put into the freezer to set.
Once the filling has set, cut into bars and drizzle with melted chocolate (like loving earth mylk chocolate), or you could make your own using equal parts cacao powder, coconut oil & rice malt syrup.
Store in the freezer.
Enjoy (in moderation of course - because it’s still a treat food!)
