Let’s be honest, when it’s a long weekend you want to relax and #treatyoself, but you also want to feel like you’ve accomplished something while you’ve had three days off.
Luckily, Jade from @hummusandwatermelon has the perfect solution for you! These healthy and delicious Wildbag cacao protein and peanut butter oat cookies will get you moving in the kitchen, as well as allowing you to indulge in all their flavoursome goodness.
3 tblsp of Wildbag Raw Superfood Protein - Organic Cacao
1 cup of oats
1/2 cup of maple syrup
1 tsp of bicarb soda
1/2 cup of chia seeds
1/2 cup of your favourite peanut butter (we love Fix & Fogg peanut butter)
1 flax egg
1 tbslp of cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
2 large bananas
1 tsp of vanilla extract
Mash bananas then mix all ingredients in a bowl
Scoop tablespoonfuls of the mixture onto a tray lined with baking paper
Bake for 20 mins at 170 degrees
Once the cookies have cooled down, devour them to your heart’s content! Jade enjoys having these as a snack or as a breakfast cookie (perfect for when you're on the run).
