Vegan Wildbag Protein Choc-Banana Bread

Bananas. They're such a versatile fruit - perfect as a base for a smoothie, on their own as a healthy and delicious snack, a great addition to a fruit salad, and you can use it to bake cakes and the oh so delicious banana bread! We were super excited when the gorgeous @thekindnessechoes shared her recipe for her vegan protein choc-banana bread and we think you will be pretty excited to try this one out: 

Ingredients:

1/2 cup Wildbag Superfood Protein Blend (take your pick of Vegan Vanilla or Vegan Cacao flavour)
1 1/2 cups of flour
1 heaped teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon powder
A pinch of salt
3 mashed bananas (the riper the better)
1/2 cup sunflower oil
1/4 of melted vegan butter stick
1/2 a cup of almond milk 
1/2 a bar of loving earth dark chocolate, broken into small pieces (we use a rolling pin to smash the chocolate up into small pieces!)

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 180 degrees
Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix until smooth (add extra milk or oil if required)
Grease a loaf tray with vegan butter
Bake for 50 mins - test the center of the loaf with a toothpick, if it comes out smooth the bread is ready, if not place the loaf back in the over for a further 5-10 mins
Let the loaf cool down slightly
Make yourself a cup of coffee and enjoy a slice or two!
