Like us last Friday night (or every Friday), these babies are DATE FREE.
Renae @the_wholesome_nutritionist knows that dates upset some people's tummies so she created this date free protein ball...and the best part....you don't even need a blender/food processor (for those of you who don't have one this recipe is also for you 😉)
1/2 cup Wildbag Raw Superfood Protein - Organic Cacao
1/2 cup almond meal
1/2 cup natural smooth peanut butter
2 heaped tbs raw cacao powder
3 tbs rice malt syrup or maple syrup (add more or less sweetener depending on personal preference)
Optional: 1/4 cup of desiccated coconut.
In a bowl, mix together all the ingredients until well combined. If needed, add in a small amount of water at a time (1 tbs) to help bring the mixture together to the right "dough" consistency.
Roll into balls & pop in the fridge to set (you could roll in coconut or dust with cacao powder if desired). These are light and fluffy and delicious.
